Authorities from West Palm Beach Fire & Rescue have recently announced details regarding the death of a 21 year old motorcycle rider after colliding with a van on Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach on Friday, March 28th, 2014.
A witness to the accident advised that the motorcycle was speeding along Dixie Highway and truck the northbound van just near the Wattana Thai restaurant south of Forest Hill Boulevard.
According to Ryan Secordan, Officer and Traffic Homicide Investigator, while the rider of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the van and a passenger were both taken to the Good Samaritan Medical Center in WPB with minor injuries, after their vehicle hit the side of the restaurant during the accident.
